Everything you need to know on this page to prepare for your weekend at Terra Livre.

Remember that  the Resort is located 5km west of Talavera.

1. IF YOU HAVE YOUR OWN TRANSPORTATION OR CHOOSE TO RENT ONE FROM THE AIRPORT:

We highly recommend this option for all participants, as the resort is located just outside Talavera.

YOU HAVE PLENTY OF PARKING SPACE INSIDE THE RESORT.

2. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE YOUR OWN TRANSPORTATION:

Before exploring this option, remember that you can rent a car at the airport if you prefer to be 100% independent during your weekend stay in Spain and upgrade to the yellow car.

The nearest airport is Madrid Barajas T1, T2, T3 or T4.

The best way to get to Talavera de la Reina is by bus or train. Therefore, your next step is to get to the Príncipe Pío Bus Station or the Atocha Cercanías Train Station.

Once you arrive at Madrid Airport, you have several options to reach these stations:

1. Bus or Metro to get to your next trip : There’s a direct bus from the airport. Be sure to check it out! All Madrid Barajas terminals have direct connections to the Madrid Metro , allowing you to get to any part of the capital, including the Príncipe Pío bus station . There’s also a Yellow Shuttle Bus that connects directly to Atocha Train Station .

2. UBER or Taxi: You can use Uber or taxi, which is much more convenient, to get to the next bus or train station. Uber from the airport is much cheaper than taxis. There are taxis at all airport terminals, but the UBER stop is located in Terminal 1.

The stations of interest and direct connection Madrid-Talavera de la Reina are:

PRÍNCIPE PÍO BUS STATION and ATOCHA-COMMUTER TRAIN STATION.

1- DIRECT TRAIN : From Atocha Cercanías station you have a DIRECT train to Talavera de la Reina approximately every hour.

You can buy your ticket now at www.renfe.com from Madrid to Talavera de la Reina.

Check-in for boarding the train. Trains are usually headed to Badajoz.

2- DIRECT BUS : From the PRÍNCIPE PÍO Bus/Metro Station approximately every half hour.

Buy your ticket now at www.samar.es from Madrid Príncipe Pío to Talavera de la Reina.

Buses to Talavera usually depart from Dock 24 or 25 on the lowest level of the station, but remember to confirm your gate with the bus station information desk.

Once in Talavera de la Reina, you can take affordable taxis to Terra Livre Resort:

Taxi : https://teletaxitalavera.es/ The best way to get there and back if you don’t have transportation is by taxi, as it takes about 3 minutes by car. For four people, it’s quite affordable and cheap.
